Matthew Stephen Young got his start doing improv comedy at SAK Theatre in Orlando and has appeared with numerous improv groups since moving to Los Angeles in 1996.  His current improv home is with ComedySportz LA, where Matt created the hit shows The High: An Improvised Teen Drama and Charlie Presto & the Magical Academy of Mystery and Sorcery.  Matt has acted in more than 50 national television commercials and has had roles on Desperate Housewives, Without a Trace, and How I Met Your Mother. 

Also a musician, Matt has composed music for two ABC television pilots and plays regularly with his bluegrass band The Dust Bowl Cavaliers.  Matt lives in Sherman Oaks, California, with his wife Sara, their three-year-old daughter Nora Lee and Hogarth the dog.
